Mepaco, part of Apache Stainless, is excited to announce the opening of its cutting-edge research and test facility, designed to support the food processing industry. The Validation Lab is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a dual engineering and processing team dedicated to advancing food science and innovation.
Key Features and Capabilities
Advanced Equipment: The 1000 sq. ft. test facility boasts a wide range of equipment, including an onsite Leer cooler and Freezer, a 50 HP boiler, and washdown components with Sanimatic CIP (clean-in-place) system.
Product Development and Testing: We have two ThermaBlend test units, a single and double agitator design can can be used for testing and development of various food products under real production conditions. Food processors can also schedule the facility for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to tweak controls and recipes.
Application Support: Our team of application engineers and controls technicians can assist with all aspects of production and processing. From concept to final product, we provide expertise in prepared foods, meat/poultry, pet foods, cheese/dairy, and plant-based foods.
Collaboration Space: The facility offers a large, attached conference room with window viewing into the testing room. The conference room has full media technology to help remote and visiting attendees to collaborate.
Regulatory Compliance: The facility was built to state and federal regulatory required for processing for for human consumption.
